Just hit 500 air fryer chicken wings and my kitchen ceiling will never be the same

So I was trying to get that perfect crispy skin on some wings, you know? I cranked the heat to 400 degrees for 15 minutes, like I always do. When I pulled the basket out, I saw the little counter on my fryer's app said 500 wings cooked... which is crazy because I only got the thing six months ago. I was so surprised I just stared at it, and then I noticed the grease splatter on the ceiling fan above the counter. It's like a tiny, greasy galaxy up there now. I guess all those batches for game days really added up. I never thought I'd have a kitchen appliance that could both feed me and redecorate my ceiling with chicken fat. Has anyone else had a weird side effect from using their air fryer this much?

My air fryer turned my white backsplash into a permanent grease map. Honestly, I started putting a sheet of foil on the counter right under the vent. It catches most of the mist. For the ceiling, I got one of those long handled microfiber mops and just give it a quick wipe every couple weeks. Tbh, it's a small price to pay for perfect wings every time.
