I just realized I've been overcrowding my air fryer basket for years
It finally clicked for me last Tuesday when my usual batch of frozen fries came out half soggy and half burnt. I was trying to cook a whole bag of Ore Ida crinkles in one go. A friend who was over pointed out that the pieces weren't even moving when I shook the basket. Now I do two smaller batches and everything gets crispy. Does anyone have a good rule for how full the basket should be?

Ever tried just shaking it more?

Oh man, shaking it is the first thing everyone tries. I had that same problem with my printer last week. What actually fixed it was taking the cartridge out and cleaning the little copper contacts on the side with a dry cloth. Just shaking it never gets the connection clean.
