Had to choose between parchment paper and a basket liner for my air fryer

I was making chicken wings last week and got sick of the mess. My options were those pre-cut parchment sheets or a reusable silicone basket liner. I went with the silicone liner from a brand called 'FryerAid' for about 12 bucks. It works great for things like fries and veggies, but for the wings, the fat pooled and the skin didn't get as crispy. Anyone have a better fix for greasy foods that doesn't involve scrubbing the basket?

Silicone liners are basically tiny bathtubs for chicken fat. You traded scrubbing for soggy skin, which is a bad deal. Maybe just embrace the mess and treat your air fryer basket like a crime scene.

Saw a tip online about poking holes in parchment paper for wings.
