Looking for a solid commercial lender for a boutique hotel acquisition

Seconding the need for a private or hard money lender for a quick hotel close. The big banks are a nightmare right now with their strict LTV requirements. Just make sure whoever you go with has specific hospitality experience, otherwise the underwriting will just stall out anyway.

My year-long experiment showed me why pre-ground coffee isn't the enemy everyone says.

I switched to pre-ground for my morning pot about six months ago. The extra ten minutes of sleep beats a slight taste difference.

I think the new wind farm near Red Rock is actually messing with our cloud patterns

It's wild how much we can see human stuff mess with nature's flow. I've watched the same thing happen with morning fog in valleys after they clear-cut a ridge nearby. The air just moves different when we put big stuff in the way.

My professor told me to focus on soil layers at the Roman site in York, and it completely changed how I see excavation.

My old crew boss told me to always check the spoil heap twice. Said the new guys toss the good stuff with the rocks. Found a whole intact clay pipe that way. His point was you miss things when you're only looking for the big finds. That shoe story proves it. The small stuff in the dirt tells you how people actually lived.

My friend's 'best anime of all time' list was just his top 5 from 2012

Remember trying to rewatch that cartoon I loved as a kid, the one with the talking cars? Man, it was rough. The jokes fell flat and the animation looked so cheap. It made me realize what you're saying, @oscar390, about new stuff opening your eyes. I gave one of those newer animated shows a shot last year, something with a more complex story, and it just blew my old favorites out of the water. Funny how your taste changes when you're not just glued to the screen for the bright colors.
