inSo I learned the hard way that not all clients pay in cash, some pay in pickles and it's a whole thing.
My cousin in Asheville traded a hand knit scarf for six jars of homemade pickles last year. The guy used way too much dill and the cucumbers were soft. Patricia Rodriguez is right, barter deals get messy when quality isn't clear. You're swapping real work for someone's hobby project. That scarf took twenty hours. I'd rather just buy pickles at the store and know what I'm getting.

inA client in Portland taught me to listen more than I talk
Totally get what you're saying about overthinking. It feels like we've turned every daily choice into a research project. I see it with food, cleaning stuff, even how we sleep. We have so much information now that a simple bar of soap isn't just soap anymore, it's a whole list of ingredients to worry about. Sometimes I miss when things were just things, you know?

inShoutout to the universe for making me see my own birthday on a license plate three times in one day.
Birthday wink from the cosmos" is the perfect way to put it. I had the same thing happen with my age on a clock radio right after my last birthday. It feels like a weird little high-five from reality.

inEveryone says to reinstall Windows for a slow boot, but I fixed one with a weird BIOS trick
Yeah, switching from IDE to AHCI fixed a boot loop for me once.
