My whole view on home gyms flipped after a month without weights
I used to be all about having a full rack of dumbbells and a bench at home, thinking that was the only way to get a real workout. Back in the day, I'd save up for every piece of gear, convinced bodyweight stuff was just for warm-ups. Then, last year, I had to travel for work and stayed in a tiny apartment with zero equipment. Out of boredom, I followed a simple routine with just push-ups, squats, and planks. Honestly, after a few weeks, I felt more toned and agile than I had in ages, lol. It made me realize how much I overcomplicated things before. Now, I still use my weights sometimes, but I mix in bodyweight days and feel way more balanced. Looking back, I wish I hadn't wasted so much money and space on gear I didn't really need.
