Took me 12 years to notice the map in my GPS was upside down on toll roads

Honestly, I've been driving the same 80 mile stretch between Nashville and Memphis for over a decade. Last month I realized I was zooming out to see the whole route every single time, and it hit me that the map orientation was flipped in my settings. My buddy in the passenger seat said 'why does your screen look like that?' and suddenly it clicked. I'd been reading it like a paper map with north up, but the GPS was set to track up the whole time. Has anyone else driven around with a basic setting backwards for years without ever checking the menu?

Wow, that is wild. I did the same thing with my phone for years until I borrowed a friend's car and realized mine was set to north up. It drove me crazy once I saw the difference, but I never thought to check the menu either.
