Hit 1,000 captures in a single month for the first time, mostly squirrels and one very confused owl

I've had my trail cam pointed at the same oak tree behind my shed since March. Usually I get maybe 300 to 400 clips a month, lots of deer and raccoons. But last month the count hit 1,000 exactly. I thought the camera was glitching or the SD card was looping. Turns out a family of gray squirrels figured out how to trip the sensor by jumping on a low branch over and over. Plus this one barred owl that sat on the fence for like three hours staring at the lens, just blinking. I don't know if that owl was studying me or waiting for the squirrels to get dumb. The weird part is the owl showed up in 140 clips, every single night around 2am. I've never seen that before in two years of running cams. Has anyone else had a single animal just dominate their card for no obvious reason? I'm half tempted to move the camera to the other side of the yard just to see what I'm missing.
