Can we talk about that cat cover with the human teeth I found in a Tucson thrift shop

My neighbor laughed at it for a solid minute, but I think the artist was making a real point about pets aging and now I can't stop staring at it, does anyone else actually take these covers seriously?

I used to walk right past stuff like that, figured it was just weird art for the sake of being weird. But your line about "a real point about pets aging" hit me hard. Once my old dog started losing his teeth, I saw how vulnerable he got, and that cat cover suddenly made sense. It's not funny, it's like a mirror showing how we see our pets change but still love the same face. I'd buy that thing in a heartbeat now, just to remind myself that growing old doesn't make something less worth holding onto.
