My cozy puzzle corner collapsed after 4 straight days of rain

Last week the ceiling above my reading nook started dripping right onto my switch dock. I had just finished the 3rd garden level in Unpacking and was about to save, but I had to yank the power cord before water hit it. The save came through fine, but now my whole setup is in the kitchen and the spot smells like old socks. Anyone else had a sudden real-world mess wreck their chill gaming vibe, and how did you rebuild your space without losing the calm?
