My phone died right after I snapped the leak under the sink, then I spent 2 days fixing what should've been a 40 minute job
The last pic I got was the drip coming from the PVC joint, but I forgot to grab a shot of the shutoff valve location behind the water heater. Took 2 full days of trips to Home Depot in Austin and a second call to my landlord because I used the wrong pipe sealant first. Has anyone else lost the whole fix because the final photo missed one dumb detail?

Well, 17 hours into my own plumbing nightmare, I realized I had a photo of the drip but not the actual valve handle. My thumb was covering it in the one pic I took, so I spent a whole morning turning off the wrong line and flooded my hallway rug. It's like my phone knows exactly which detail I'm gonna forget and crops it out on purpose. The worst part is I bought the same pipe sealant twice because I didn't check the label until after I'd already put it on. So now I'm the proud owner of a spare tube of goop and a permanent distrust of my own photo rolls. Did you at least get to keep the wrench as a souvenir?
