After reading that old police report, I'm sure Jack the Ripper wasn't a doctor.
He probably had meat cutting skills from another job.

Wait, but doctors have to know how the body works when it's alive too, right? That's a whole different thing than just cutting meat.

Piper's point about butchers knowing anatomy best... it made me think of my buddy Carl. He had this ongoing shoulder issue, and his doctor was all about tendons and nerves. But then Carl helped his uncle, a butcher, break down a side of beef one weekend. The uncle pointed out how the muscles connected in a way that explained Carl's pain spot... the doctor had missed that because he was focused on the living system. So the butcher saw the structure, but the doctor understood the function. But in the end, it was the doctor's treatment plan that actually fixed it, using his knowledge of how bodies heal.
