Came across a hidden art alley during my evening walk
I stumbled upon this alley full of murals during my walk yesterday. Each wall had a different piece of art, all by local artists. I spent time looking at every detail and took some photos. It was a nice surprise in the middle of the city. Really made my day better.

You mentioned taking photos of the murals. Did you find yourself drawn to one piece more than the others? I always wonder what makes certain art stick with you after you walk away. Was there a story behind any of the local artists' work that you learned about? These hidden spots can say a lot about a city's heart, you know? What do you think the art was trying to say to people just passing by?

Ngl, I didn't get hooked on any one mural. Most just seem like backdrop for selfies, not deep city stories.

That new five story mural on the old factory wall is a perfect example. It's all bright colors and geometric shapes, but it doesn't tell you anything. It feels like it was made just to look cool in a photo, not to make you feel something about the city's history. I saw a dozen people taking the exact same picture in front of it. The art becomes decoration, not a conversation. It's a shame because those walls could hold real stories.
