PSA: I think I broke a traffic light in my town for a solid minute
I was driving home on Elm Street yesterday and got stuck at a red light that just wouldn't change. After waiting through three full cycles of the cross street, I remembered a weird tip from a forum about turning your headlights off and on. I did it, and the light immediately turned green for me, but then it stayed green for a full minute while the other directions stayed red. Has anyone in the Springfield area ever had a traffic light just... respond to you like that?

That headlight trick is an old urban legend, but it's wild it actually worked for you. Springfield's lights on Elm are notoriously glitchy, especially after heavy rain. I've sat through multiple cycles before, but never managed to command one like that.

Right? That intersection is a total mess after a storm. Felt like a wizard when my high beams finally got it to flip.
