Why does nobody talk about the new glass at the Denver airport terminal?

I was there for a layover and the entire west wall is this massive, curved laminated panel, but the silicone joints looked rushed and uneven from about ten feet away. It made the whole installation seem cheap, which is crazy for a project that size. Do you think that's becoming the standard for public jobs now, or did they just have a bad crew?

Ugh, I read they cut corners to meet the opening deadline.

Is it just me or does this happen way more now? I used to believe big public projects had better oversight, but seeing sloppy work in person really changed my mind. If they let those joints go out like that, what else did they rush? It feels like deadlines and budgets always win over doing it right.

Honestly @xenaw25, what kind of project was it that made you lose faith like that?
