Can we talk about using a 1/8 inch spacer for shower doors?
A client in Tampa said my installs looked 'tight but not too tight' after I switched from a 1/16 inch gap. Has anyone else gotten feedback that made you change your standard practice?

Tight but not too tight" is such perfect feedback! I had a customer call my old gap "stressful to look at" which totally made me rethink things. That little bit of extra space just looks more intentional.

Totally get what you mean, @stone.sarah. I've had people point out stuff I never even noticed before, and it changes everything. That "stressful to look at" comment is brutal but honestly so useful lol.

You know what, that "stressful to look at" comment is gold but I wonder how many of us are just walking around with stressful gaps and nobody says anything. I had a friend once tell me my outfit looked like I was trying too hard and I didn't talk to her for a week but looking back she was right. Its weird how the people who give you the harsh truth are the ones who actually help you improve. Do you think most people just avoid saying stuff like that because they don't want to seem rude?
