I used to take all my product photos with my phone until last month
Honestly, my old phone camera was fine for basic stuff, but the pictures always looked flat and grainy under my kitchen lights. I finally bought a cheap ring light for $25 and a small tripod after seeing a review on YouTube. The difference is crazy, my photos look way more professional now and you can actually see the details. Anyone else have a simple gadget that totally changed how you do reviews?

Yeah, the part about photos looking flat and grainy under kitchen lights is so real. My friend had the same problem trying to sell some old books online. She got one of those little clip-on phone lenses for macro shots, like a ten dollar one from a random site. It was a total game changer for showing the tiny details in the illustrations and the actual condition of the pages. Her listings got way more interest after that. I mean, it's wild how such a small, cheap thing can make that big of a difference.

Wow, that's actually a genius fix. I should try that because my own product photos are honestly kind of sad. @beth_patel4 your friend is smart. I've been messing with my kitchen lights for ages trying to fix the same grainy look. Never even crossed my mind to just get a cheap lens. My stubborn self kept thinking I needed a whole new camera setup. This is the kind of simple tip that saves so much headache. Definitely ordering one tonight.
