I finally stopped using my smartwatch and I don't miss it ONE BIT.

God yes, same here. Took mine off a month ago and the quiet is amazing. I didn't realize how much I hated the constant buzzing on my wrist until it was gone. My phone is bad enough, I don't need a second screen telling me to stand up or that my heart rate is normal. It just became another thing to charge and worry about.

But what about when you actually need to track something, like your sleep or daily steps? I get where @rowan_murphy is coming from with the buzzing, but my watch reminding me to move has really helped my stiff back. It pings me to stretch often, and I look at my phone less for the time or texts. Yeah, charging it is annoying, but I'll take that over always digging for my phone.

That's a fair point from @hayes.elliot about the health reminders being useful. But how do you handle the constant data tracking becoming another stress? I tried using a watch for sleep tracking, and it made me focus too much on the numbers instead of just resting. Does @hayes.elliot ever feel like the watch adds pressure to perform rather than just help? It seems like the line between helpful tool and another demand on your attention is really thin. Maybe for some people, the benefits outweigh the buzz, but for others, it's just noise.

Felt the same way about my fitness tracker last year. Got so wrapped up in hitting perfect sleep scores that I'd lie awake stressing about ruining my data. Tossed it in a drawer and the mental noise just stopped.
