Chose the glittery unicorn note over my carefully drawn plans

My 7 year old left two magnets up on the fridge last week, one was this detailed map of our yard with tactical stick figures, the other just said 'DAD IS OK I GUESS' with a glitter unicorn. I pinned the unicorn one above my work desk for 5 days straight and honestly it made me laugh every single time I saw it. Has anyone else picked the silly note over the clever one and found it weirdly motivating?

My best work email got zero replies once, but a sticky note that just said "you smell like cheese" in my own handwriting made me laugh for a week straight. There's something about the chaos of a kid's honesty that cuts through all the overthinking. Maybe our brains just need a break from smart stuff sometimes.
