Dropped $400 on a 'client finder' service that basically ghosted me
They promised leads in my niche, but all I got were three emails for people looking for free advice. The whole thing felt like a scam after the first week. I could've used that cash for actual ads or just taken a week off. Anyone else get burned by one of these services?

Man, that's rough. My experience was the total opposite though. Paid for a similar service last year and they over-delivered. Got solid leads, two turned into long-term clients. Maybe it's just about picking the right provider.

Ugh, that's so frustrating. I read a piece about this last month, how a lot of these services just scrape public directories and send out completely cold, useless contacts. They said the real red flag is when they guarantee a specific number of leads, because quality ones can't be promised like that.
