Just realized everyone says to agitate film gently, but I shook my canister like a soda and got perfect results.
I was developing a roll of Kentmere 400 in my bathroom last month and my timer broke, so I just gave the tank a good hard shake for 10 seconds every minute instead of the gentle inversions. The negatives came out with zero surge marks and really even density, which totally goes against every guide I've ever read. Has anyone else tried a more aggressive agitation method and had it work out?
