Brown negatives from my grandfather's darkroom stash

Found a bottle of developer in his basement from decades ago. It completely fogged my test roll. Is old chemistry always a lost cause?

Decades ago? That developer was probably bad before you were born. Total lost cause after that long.

Can you even picture working with stuff that old? You are SO right, it's a complete lost cause. I had a project with code from like the 90s, and it was a MESS. Nobody left who understood it, and every change broke something else. Total waste of energy to even try.
