Remember when cargo pants were just for function? I tried putting pockets on a silk slip dress.
The idea was a 'dress you could actually live in', but the weight of a single phone pulled the whole thing out of shape. Anyone found a way to add utility to delicate fabrics without ruining the drape?

My linen dress has a hidden seam pocket that holds my keys perfectly.

Try sewing a tiny, separate pouch into the side seam. It barely shows and keeps the phone weight off the main fabric.
