I was sketching dresses with the same neckline for years until a trip to Tokyo

I visited the Harajuku district and saw how they layer fabrics in ways I never thought of. My whole sketchbook was full of simple scoop necks, but there I saw a dress with three different collars stacked. Has anyone tried mixing neckline shapes in one piece before?
