Grandma's recipes never seem to work right with today's stuff, do they? My mom's old meatloaf calls for a kind of tomato sauce they just don't make anymore. You swap in the new jar from the store and the whole balance is off, way too sweet. It's like the foundation of the recipe is gone. Makes you wonder what else they changed in our food without telling us.

Wait they changed the tomato sauce too? That's wild. @wyatt513 you're totally right, the sugar in everything now is out of control. I tried making my nana's chili and the canned tomatoes alone made it taste like candy, it was gross. They keep messing with the basic stuff and then we have to fix it. Makes me not trust any of the jars at the store anymore lol.
