Honestly that's the worst timing. My mom's vintage watch stopped for good right as we were leaving for my graduation. Tbh it felt like a weird sign, like the past deciding to bow out. We ended up just leaving it on the table and it was kinda sad. Makes you wonder about all the other events those old pieces have seen before they finally give up.

That happened with my grandpa's old camera. We got it fixed up and now it's back on the shelf, still part of things. Sometimes they just need a little help to keep the story going.
