My neighbor said he fixed his wobbly table with a stack of old coasters.

He told me he just shoved them under the short leg and tapped them in with a hammer until it was solid. I tried it on my own kitchen table and it actually worked, but now I'm wondering if there's a better long term fix for something like this. Has anyone else had luck with a more permanent solution for uneven furniture legs?

Oh nice, that's a classic fix. If you want it more permanent, you could try a furniture leveler. They're little plastic things you screw into the bottom of the leg, then you just twist them up or down until the table stops rocking. Way cleaner than coasters and you can adjust it again if the floor shifts later.

Yeah I saw a video about those levelers last week. Honestly they look way easier than messing with folded paper or random shims. Tbh my old apartment had floors so uneven everything wobbled, wish I knew about them back then. You can get a whole pack for cheap and just screw them in, seems like a solid fix.
