Wasted $400 on a high-end facial device that did nothing

I fell for the hype and bought that LED mask everyone was raving about last year. After 6 months of daily use, I saw zero difference in my skin's texture or fine lines. My clients kept asking if I was using it, and I had to admit it was a total dud. I even tested it alongside a cheap drugstore serum on one side of my face for a month the drugstore side looked better. Anyone else here wasted money on a trendy tool that didn't deliver what it promised?

And let me guess, the cheap drugstore serum didn't have a fancy website with before and after photos either, did it? Seems like half the battle with these devices is just convincing yourself it's working because of how much you spent.

Yeah @elliotw37 you're not wrong. I've seen people get way better results from a $10 tube of retinol than from a $500 gadget because they actually used it every night.

Is the fancy box it came in worth $490 more than @drew_west's retinol, or what?
