Just realized I was wrong about those new wireless elevator door detectors

My crew installed a set in a high rise downtown last month, and I was sure the signal would drop. They have worked perfectly for 4 weeks straight, even in the shaft. Anyone else had a good experience with wireless tech on the job?

It's funny how often we're wrong about new tech. I was sure smart home stuff would be a joke, but my lights have been on a schedule for two years without a single hiccup. We get used to things failing and then act surprised when they just work. It's a nice change of pace.

What brand did you go with? I've seen some cheap ones drop signal but the good ones are solid if you check the range specs first.
