Saw some wild conduit runs at a brewery in Asheville

I was at the New Belgium brewery tour last month and the electrical work in the production area was something else. They had these huge, sweeping conduit runs that looked like art, but I kept thinking about the pull on those 500 MCM feeders. Has anyone here done a big industrial job where the layout made you scratch your head?

That New Belgium setup is actually pretty standard for big breweries. Those long, sweeping bends are planned to make the wire pull easier, not harder. A good crew with the right lube can run those feeders without a fight.

I used to see those big loops and assume it was just for looks, making the pull way harder. After watching a crew run some 350s on a factory job, it clicked. The long, gentle bends let the cable just slide through, no sharp corners to fight against.
