Rant: The week I spent three days in a crawl space full of angry squirrels

Got a call for a flickering light in a big old house in Springfield. Traced it to chewed wiring under the floor, so I had to go down there. First day, I just heard them moving around. Second day, one dropped a nut right on my hard hat. By Thursday, a whole family decided my tool bag was their new home and wouldn't leave. I had to finish the job with a headlamp in one hand and a broom in the other, gently pushing them aside. Has anyone else had to deal with wildlife that really, really wanted to help with the job?

Next time, try putting a radio tuned to a talk station in the crawl space first, it usually keeps them away.

That talk radio trick really works, but I found sports radio keeps them away even longer.
