Someone in the chat told me my event posts were way too long

I used to write these huge paragraphs about local shows, like every band's whole history. A regular said 'dude, just give us the place, time, and vibe, we're scrolling on our phones.' That hit hard. Now I keep it to three lines max, just the key stuff. Anyone else get told they're putting too much info in the chat?

Saw a blog post that said the average attention span for online stuff is like eight seconds now. Makes sense why the short posts work better.

My friend's kid can't even watch a full 30-second TikTok anymore. It's like our brains are getting rewired for speed.
