Serious question, did you ever have to pick between a slow cooker and a pressure cooker?

I chose the slow cooker about 5 years ago because I wanted something I could just set and forget while I was out on jobs. It was the right call for me, but I'm curious if anyone has tried both for the same recipe, like a basic pot roast.

Burning a roast is usually a timing issue, not the cooker.
