Best find day ever at a garage sale in Phoenix
I usually skip garage sales, but last Saturday I pulled over for a box of old books and found a 1920s guide on raising chickens in the desert. The cover has a faded rooster and the pages smell like old spice. Has anyone else had a random day like that where the universe just handed you a gem?

Did you actually try any of the chicken raising tips or was it more of a cool shelf decoration thing lol? I always wonder if people actually use those old guides or just let them collect dust. Curious if desert chicken farming was a real thing back then or just some hustler trying to sell pamphlets.

@mary614 nah that thing is shelf candy, nobody's raising chickens from a dusty 1920s pamphlet.
