Dropped a 12ft sheet on my foot last Tuesday at a job in Phoenix

I was working alone on a ceiling in this new build near Surprise and the sheet caught an air pocket. Landed right on my steel toes but still crushed my arch pretty bad. How do you guys handle big sheets solo without wrecking yourself?
