Lost a whole day's work when my AutoCAD file corrupted

Last Tuesday I had a power flicker right as I was saving a 3D shop drawing for a commercial job in Springfield. Opened it up the next morning and got nothing but error messages. Ended up pulling an all nighter redoing it from a backup that was 5 hours old. Anyone else got a system for keeping multiple auto-saves going?

Wait, you only had ONE backup from 5 hours earlier? That's insane for a job that size, I'd have at least three autosaves going and a manual copy on a thumb drive after every major move. Power flickers are the absolute worst, hope that all nighter didn't wreck your whole week.

Patricia, I respect your setup but I've been burned by too many autosaves getting corrupted over the years... one solid manual save is usually enough for me. Different workflows for different folks I guess.
