I've been drawing my floor plan north arrows wrong for like six months
I mean, I was putting the arrowhead at the south end this whole time, thinking it pointed north. My buddy Mike in the office finally saw one of my PDFs and just goes, 'Hey, your building is facing Antarctica.' I had to redo like 30 sheets from a big apartment job in Phoenix. Has anyone else had a total brain glitch on a basic symbol?

That's a brutal one to catch so late... classic case of your hands doing the thing your brain stopped checking. The north arrow is one of those symbols you just stop seeing after a while. Honestly, Mike did you a solid, even if it meant a weekend of rework. At least it was an apartment in Phoenix and not, like, a ski lodge. The sheer panic of realizing the scale of the mistake is its own special kind of workplace horror.
