Tried caulking my shower with that expensive 100% silicone and it's already peeling
Used GE Silicone 2 off Amazon. Followed the instructions, cleaned with alcohol, let it dry 24 hours before using the shower. Three days later and it's lifting at the corners. Did I miss a step or is this stuff just not great for wet areas?

Oh man, been there. I swear 100% silicone is like trying to glue wet spaghetti to a greasy pan sometimes. That GE stuff is actually pretty good in my book, but your shower walls might have been too smooth or still had some soap scum stuck on, kind of like trying to get paint to stick to a glass table. Plus if there's any flex in the shower pan when you step in it, that'll pop the corners off real fast. I've had better luck with the stuff that says "paintable" or "acrylic blend" for showers that get used daily, your mileage may vary though.

Yeah that GE stuff is solid but sounds like the surface wasn't dry enough before you applied it.
