That cheap paint roller from the dollar store ruined my whole weekend project
Bought a pack of 3 for like 2 bucks. Started painting the living room ceiling. By the third pass, fibers were shedding everywhere. Had to pick little fuzz balls out of wet paint for 2 hours. Who else found out the hard way that cheap rollers aren't worth the savings?

Oh man, I feel your pain. I made the exact same mistake last summer when I was painting my hallway. That dollar store roller started dropping fuzz after literally two strokes and I spent the whole afternoon picking hair out of the paint with tweezers. It was one of those weekend projects that turns into a nightmare real quick. The ceiling sounds even worse though, because you're looking up the whole time and your neck hurts on top of everything. I finally learned my lesson and now I just buy the mid-range ones from the hardware store, they cost a couple bucks more but save so much frustration. So yeah, you've got my full sympathy on that one.

@ sage_rodriguez I think tweezers work fine but a damp rag wipes fuzz off faster without the hand cramps.
