Vent: Tried to use a paint sprayer on my living room ceiling and it was a disaster.
I borrowed a Graco Magnum from a friend, thinking it would be way faster than rolling. It ended up spraying a fine mist over everything, including me, and the ceiling looked worse than when I started. Anyone have a foolproof method for a smooth ceiling finish without this mess?

Yeah, that "fine mist over everything" is the worst. I used to think sprayers were the pro move for ceilings too, but after a similar mess, I'm back to a good roller and a thick nap. You get way more control, and a steady "W" pattern actually lays it down smooth without the fog.
