PSA: I hung a door upside down and nobody noticed for 6 weeks

Last month I finally got around to replacing the ugly hollow core door in my hallway. I pulled the new one out of the box, marked the hinges, and mounted everything before realizing the grain was going the wrong way. But the latch still closed, the gaps looked fine from a distance, and my wife walked past it every day. It took a guest asking why the bottom edge had a dust lip to catch it. I swapped it right side up in about an hour, but honestly the upside down version worked just as well. Has anyone else ever installed something wrong and just left it because it functioned fine?
