I was regilding the fore-edge of a 1930s poetry collection I got for $4 at a yard sale in Eugene, and someone had scrawled 'use a wax paper barrier, trust me' inside the cover. I tried it on my next project, and honestly the difference was night and day, has anyone else gotten random tips from old owners like that?
