Serious question, has anyone else had their Airbnb host cancel 2 days before arrival in Medellin?

I was all set for a month in Colombia, then my host just messaged 'sorry, family emergency' and blocked me, leaving me scrambling to find a new place with my first client call in 12 hours.

Check the listing again right now. Did they suddenly raise the price for your dates? I've seen hosts pull this move to get out of a long, cheap booking so they can charge triple for a holiday weekend.
