Coworking space vs library desk for deep focus days

I spent last month bouncing between a $200/month coworking spot in Chiang Mai and the free library desk 10 minutes from my apartment. The coworking space had better coffee and AC but I got way more actual work done at the library where nobody talks to me. Has anyone else found that paying for a desk actually hurts your productivity sometimes?

Flip that whole thing around. I actually get way more done at the coworking space because the pressure to look busy kicks in and keeps me from zoning out. The library's total silence makes me hyperaware of every tiny noise (a cough, a page turn) and I just can't settle in. It's like the mild chaos and background chatter at the coworking spot helps my brain lock in, you know? Plus, I've made a few solid connections there just by nodding at the same people every day, which never happens at the library.

Respectfully gotta disagree on this one. That pressure to look busy at coworking spaces just makes me anxious and I end up faking focus instead of actually working. The library's quiet helps me settle into my own head without worrying what everyone else is doing.
