Can we talk about the day my Airbnb in Lisbon had no wifi and I ended up working from a fish market?
The router died at 7am on a Tuesday and my host just texted 'sorry, maybe tomorrow.' I had a client call at 9, so I grabbed my laptop and walked 10 minutes to the market by the river, where a guy selling sardines pointed me to a tiny cafe with outlets. My call went fine, but I did it with a whole tuna staring at me from the counter. Ended up getting more done there than I ever do at a fancy co-working spot. Has anyone else had a wifi disaster force them somewhere weird and accidentally better?
Heard a story on a podcast about a guy who worked from a laundromat in Tokyo for a week because his hotel wifi kept dropping. Something about the noise and the dryers made him weirdly focused.
