Ngl, seeing a fresh tech rely solely on fault codes for a simple injector issue kinda bums me out

Tbh, I remember when diagnosing was about listening to the engine and feeling the vibrations, not just reading a screen.

Right? It's exactly like putting a bandaid on a broken pipe. Had a car last month where the code just said "misfire", but listening for that little tick would've pointed straight at the injector. Now it's back with a fouled plug.

Honestly, is it really that bad if they fix it faster with codes?

Rushing to patch stuff with quick codes just feels like putting a bandaid on a broken pipe. Yeah it might hold for a second, but it's gonna blow up worse later. They never actually fix the root problem, just hide it for a minute. Then we're all back here next week dealing with the same mess. So is it that bad? Only if you care about the game not being held together by duct tape and prayers.
