Dug my old Zune HD out of a drawer last week and it still has tunes on it

Found my beat up Zune HD from 2009 in a box under my bed. Plugged it into my laptop and it still fired up with all my playlists from college intact. Problem is the Zune software is completely dead now, Microsoft killed it years ago. Anyone know a way to sync new music onto one of these things without the official app? I got maybe 15 gigs of space left and I'm tired of just shuffling the same old songs.

Yeah I went through this exact struggle a few months back. Found a GitHub tool called ZuneGo that lets you drag and drop files onto the device without the dead software.

Oh man, I remember that pain when I pulled out my old Zune. luna_jackson28 mentioned ZuneGo and that's exactly what I ended up using. It worked pretty well for me, just drag and drop like a normal USB drive. One heads up though - it can be a little picky about file formats, mp3 is safest.
