Accessing forever 21 in the old mall food court gave me a weird feeling
Last Tuesday I drove 45 minutes to the Stratford Mall just to check it out, and I overheard a former janitor tell a tour group that the food court fountain used to have coins from 12 different countries in it. That little detail hit me harder than I expected because it made me realize how much local history just gets forgotten when these places close. Does anyone else ever get stuck on one weird fact about a dead mall and can't stop thinking about it?
