That Power Mac G4 my neighbor threw out actually booted up after I left it in my garage for 6 months
Found it in the trash last October, let it sit on a shelf collecting dust, then plugged it in last week and it fired right up - has anyone else had luck with old Macs that sat around forever?

My old G3 sat in a damp basement for like two years and still booted up with the classic startup chime. Those things are built like tanks.
