My kid's tablet got a virus from a free game download
Last Tuesday, my son was playing on his tablet in the living room and downloaded a 'free' racing game. The next day, my bank called about a suspicious $40 charge from an app store. I checked the tablet and found the game had installed a hidden app that was making purchases. I had to factory reset the tablet and finally set up a separate user profile for him with no payment info. Has anyone else found a good way to lock down kids' devices without making them useless?

Separate user profile is the only way to go.

Wait, but what about shared family devices where separate profiles would just cause more fights?
